What’s the Difference between UberX, Uberpool and Express Pool?

UberX holds a maximum of 4 passengers and includes typical sedans such as the Toyota Prius and Honda Accord. Many 15-year-old vehicles or newer, with 4 doors, in good condition, with no cosmetic damage, no commercial branding, and which pass a vehicle inspection qualify as an Uber X.
The vehicles must also have: 5 factory-installed seats and seat belts, working windows, and air conditioning, and must be registered and insured in their respective states.
Uberpool and Express Pool are shared rides with other Uber users heading in the same direction as you which saves you money over Uber X.
The vehicle requirements are the same as Uber X.
With both options, you may end up riding alone even though you have chosen a pool option. You may also end up riding in an Uber XL, SUV, Select or other class vehicle upgraded from Uber X class depending on which drivers are available in your area. Upgraded Uber vehicle types are newer and more comfortable when you get lucky and land one.
It is very common to get a lucky upgraded Uber ride as the majority of rides ordered are Uber X.
TIP!!! – When you order an Uber X or an Uber Pool, you may be lucky and get an upgraded vehicle as many drivers who drive higher Uber vehicle classes also pick up Uber X passengers in order to make more money. Also when you order an Uber Pool or Uber Express Pool you may end up with no one else on your ride. Do not schedule counting on this to happen, but enjoy it when it does, because it happens often.
